Our Story

Rooted in the CMI legacy of education

Chavara English Medium School is run by fathers belonging to the Congregation of Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI). Following the footsteps of Saint Kuriakose Elias Chavara, the founder of the CMI congregation, CMI fathers are engaged in charitable and educational activities all over India and abroad.

At present, the congregation has more than 750 educational institutions to its credit, with the motto "Quality Education for All." The congregation is spread across the world and is engaged in educational and social activities even in the remote areas of African countries.

Our Trust

Chavara Trust, Registered 2001

Chavara English Medium School, Shahada comes under Chavara Trust, registered in 2001 under the Bombay Public Trust Act 1950 with Registration No. E-490, Dhule. The Board of Trustees belongs to the CMI Congregation. The school exists for the integral personality formation and development of children through education, and currently conducts pre-primary, primary and high school classes for boys and girls.
